Thank goodness for Scott and his horses. Kirk had to quarter the meat to get it down off the mountain. The forest was to thick for the wheelers to go, so they had to hike in 3 miles on foot. They froze ,were exhausted and hardly ate a thing, and still they had a BLAST!!! I Swear I will never understand Hunting or MEN for that matter!!
After Kirk got home we took the meat down to hang and stop to show Bud, The girls & Breckin were excited to see the Elk head. They loved it, and one of the neighbor girls(Deja) even touched the poor things dead eye.
I Am so glad Kirk got an Elk! Now he doesn't have to go up again this weekend!
